I-FLOW Travels Together Advancing Together In Chengdu

Work gives us direction, but journeys give us connection.At the end of December, I-FLOW pressed pause on busy schedules and set out together for a three-day team-building journey to Chengdu—a city where history and everyday life coexist in perfect balance. From ancient civilizations buried beneath time to the gentle rhythm of teahouses and alleyways, this trip became more than travel; it became a shared memory.

①Walking Through Time: Chengdu’s Past and Present

The journey began with excitement as the team arrived in Chengdu, greeted by warm local hospitality and authentic Sichuan flavors. That first meal set the tone—familiar faces, relaxed conversations, and the feeling that this trip belonged to everyone.

Sanxingdui followed. Standing before towering bronze figures and mysterious golden masks, time seemed to slow. The ancient Shu civilization revealed itself not through words, but through awe. Thousands of years collapsed into a single moment of silence and wonder, reminding us that innovation, courage, and vision have always shaped human progress.

As evening arrived, Chengdu revealed its other side. Some wandered through Kuanzhai Alley, tracing history through stone walls and lantern-lit streets. Others immersed themselves in the energy of Chunxi Road, where modern life pulses late into the night. Different paths, same destination—connection.

②Wisdom of Water, Calm of the Mountains

The next day led us beyond the city, toward the origins of the fertile Tianfu Plain. At Dujiangyan, the ancient irrigation system stood quietly yet powerfully, a masterpiece of engineering that has served generations without a single dam. Walking across bridges and overlooking flowing waters, we felt deep respect for the wisdom that balances nature rather than conquers it—an idea that resonates strongly with I-FLOW’s own philosophy.

Later, Mount Qingcheng offered a different rhythm. Rain-kissed stone steps, towering trees, and mist drifting between branches created a calm that encouraged slower footsteps and easier conversations. The climb was unhurried, filled with laughter, encouragement, and moments of reflection. Sometimes, the strongest bonds are formed simply by moving forward together.

That evening, a steaming Sichuan hot pot brought everyone back to the table. Spice, warmth, and shared stories washed away fatigue, leaving only comfort and satisfaction.

③Gentle Moments and Lasting Warmth

The final day began with smiles at the Chengdu Panda Base. Watching pandas eat, roll, and nap reminded everyone how simple joy can be.

A thoughtful surprise from General Manager Mr. Owen—panda plush toys prepared for employees’ children—quietly turned the moment into something deeper. It was a reminder that I-FLOW’s care extends beyond the workplace, reaching families and homes.

At Wuhou Temple, history spoke again—this time through the spirit of loyalty, responsibility, and dedication embodied by Zhuge Liang. Nearby Jinli Ancient Street and People’s Park slowed the pace once more, inviting everyone to sip tea, browse stalls, and enjoy Chengdu’s famously relaxed way of life.

A Journey That Moves Us Forward

Three days passed quickly, but what remained was lasting. Walking together through history, nature, and city life strengthened trust, understanding, and teamwork. This pause was not an ending—it was preparation.
